Three Nigerian Muslim pilgrims from Kwara state have been arrested in
Saudi Arabia for alleged possession of substance suspected to be
cocaine. According to the Executive Secretary, Kwara Muslim Pilgrims
Welfare Board, Fatima Abolore-Jimoh, the pilgrims were arrested in
Madinnah by Saudi Arabia security operatives. She however did not
disclose the names of the pilgrims.
Abolore-Jimoh said they were still in the custody of Saudi Arabian
authorities and that the country's law would certainly take its course.
